Reflections on Community
This month's column explores a current effort underway in support of environmental health and our profession: the National Environmental Health Partnership Council (NEHPC). NEHPC strives to support healthy people by working for healthier environments. It is a community effort that brings together diverse stakeholders (included NEHA) to expand and sustain awareness, education, policies, and practices related to environmental health. Two resources from NEHPC's work are described, as well as how working with a community of like-minded professionals can lead to progress in creating a healthier nation.
