Ikigai

Ikigai is a Japanese concept that roughly translates to our reason for being. It is our purpose in life and represents the confluence of many factors, mainly what you love and what you are good at. In this month's column, Dr. Dyjack charges readers to revel in their ikigai and to bring their love and enthusiasm to their work and home life. Scientific studies show that both receiving and giving love have tremendous health benefits, which are needed more than ever in these challenging times.
