Board of Director’s Officers Announced

Elections are a critical part of the democratic process and are one way in which our members have a voice in the running of our association. Our members have an opportunity to vote for candidates of a contested Board of Directors' office.

Officers serve a one-year term and Regional Vice Presidents serve a three-year term. Membership is represented by nine regions that represent U.S. geographic areas, as well as members in the U.S. military and abroad.

The following officers were elected in the 2023 election:

Scott Holmes, Second Vice President

National officer; 5-year term that progresses through the national offices and will serve as NEHA president in 2026–2027

Bill Emminger, Regional Vice President, Region 1

Represents Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington; 3-year term

Jaime Estes, Regional Vice President, Region 5

Represents Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas; 3-year term

M.L. Tanner, Regional Vice President, Region 7

Represents Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee; 3-year term
